Happy Independence Day!

Painting #1 “Grace Abounds” – 8.5 x 10.5 – watercolor

We need a little grace in our lives, don’t you think? Crazy times of late, though let’s remain positive and forget about all the ugliness and focus on beauty.

Painting #2 “My God, My Rock” Psalm 18:2 – 11 x 14 inches – watercolor

I was so surprised how this one turned out. I pushed it until I reached the look and feel that I truly aim for.

Painting #3 “Blessings” 14 x 19 inches – watercolor

I decided to call this done after letting it sit for several months. I should spend more time with describing my approach and technique but I am thinking that I should get to bed, it’s late!

Painting #4 Oregon Creek study – 8.5 x 10.5 inches – watercolor

I am working on a larger piece and I have been working on smaller studies to loosen up. I was pleased how this one turned out though it is quite colorful.

Painting #5 – Inspired by Lassen Volcanic Park – 5 x 7 inches – watercolor

Another little painting to loosen up.

Painting #6 “Crimson II” – 11 x 14 inches – watercolor

Last but not least, a minimally painted piece for fun. I often like to stretch myself by doing something completely different.

Cheers!!
